Schrock, Etheridge to lead Philippines in Asian Qualifiers

Manila: The Philippines have called up England-based goalkeeper Neil Etheridge for the resumption of their FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023 qualifying campaign next month.

Etheridge has been named as vice-captain to veteran midfielder Stephan Schrock, who will lead a 26-man squad that includes uncapped Europe-based quartet Gerrit Holtmann, Jesper Nyholm, Raphael Obermair, and Lloyd Fagerlie.
